ADAK Jamshidzadeh

ADAK (Yavar Jamshidzadeh)

Coffee Painter | Innovator in the World of Color and Aroma
Yavar Jamshidzadeh
, known by his artistic name Adak, is an Iranian visual artist, painter, designer, and musician, born in 1980 in Ardabil, Iran. He grew up in a Turkish-speaking family and started his artistic journey at a young age. In 1994, he entered the School of Visual Arts and chose graphic design as his field of study, marking the beginning of his professional career.

During those years, he gained recognition by participating in national student biennales, winning multiple awards in the fields of miniature painting, calligraphy, and painting. He later deepened his expertise through specialized courses in painting, traditional music, singing, and guitar, while continuing his studies in art college. His place among contemporary artists was solidified through his innovative work.

Innovation in Coffee Painting
In 2006, Adak introduced the creative use of Turkish coffee as his primary medium in painting, establishing a unique style in the world of visual arts. This distinctive technique, combining aroma and color, takes the viewer on an emotional and inner journey through memory, nature, and imagination, creating an experience of artistic catharsis.
His works are created on canvas, paper, and wood, and are often abstract or occasionally realistic; however, they always convey human and emotional concepts poetically.

Musical Activities
Alongside his visual arts, Adak is also a prominent figure in music. He has produced and released an 8-track album, blending pop and traditional Iranian music, as well as 12 independent singles as both a singer and composer.
